Want to become a barista?
Becoming a barista is hard work and we treat it like a trade, not just a job. We are always accepting applications and looking for individuals who love coffee and beverage preparation and/or have good foodservice experience and want to learn some new skills. Hiring is done on an “as needed” basis. Most of the staff here waited and pursued their job for months before a position opened. If you have something to offer our team and are a good fit for the family here, be willing to be patient. In the meantime, get involved with the events we offer. That’s the best way for us to get to know you.
Disclaimer:
We get a lot of applications and we only have a staff of 10 people at Lemonjello’s. That means we are extremely picky and will look first at those who show interest in learning the barista trade and can commit to at least a year as part of our team. All employees are required to have early morning or late evening and weekend availability because that’s when we are the busiest.
